My name is Terry Peters, I am a Freelance Electrical Estimator.
I have a wealth of bidding
experience.
I am commercially aware,
used to working to deadlines and have a healthy understanding of caution and risk.
Since completing my
on-site Electrical Apprenticeship, I have worked continuously in the Electrical Contracting Industry, gaining practical on-site
and valuable off-site experience.
I have been estimating
for some 20 plus years.
My career has seen me
estimating for small to medium sized contractors and as a Bid Manager at Associate level for a large M&E Contractor with
a turnover in excess of £40 million.
How can I help?
Flexibility. I can prepare
bids at all levels of input, from outline budgets to fully detailed tenders created from ‘1st principles’.
I can prepare m2 Cost
Plans, Nett cost take-offs for labour, material and Sub-Contractors, Value Engineering checklists, post tender analysis, Schedules
of Rates, etc, etc.
I can work alongside
designers and selected specialists to produce sketch designs for developing into commercial bids. I am also experienced in
working with Mechanical Estimators to produce integrated M&E tenders.
Flexibility. I can use
Estimation and Fastest and have a commercial software package of my own to export full labour/material take-offs into Excel
and pdf formats. Whatever software you use, I’m adaptable.
Flexibility. I’m
able to work from home, site or your premises. I’ll quote you a tapering, all inclusive day-rate synchronized to your
requirements or I’ll quote you a project specific price if you prefer.
Flexibility. I can offer
cover for those situations when an extra estimator is needed; sickness, holidays, jury service, busy periods, short tender
timescale, etc.
